I welcome all of you to the Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa college for women , Jhar Sahib affiliated to Punjab  University Chandigarh,in which we work together as a family to inspire the young students to build up their  career and transform themselves into decent human beings. I am very much delighted to take charge as the  Principal of this reputed college.

 In line with our vision of becoming a role model for teaching and learning, we place great importance on  developing opportunities for our students to discover their strengths and realize their potential. Besides the  important educational programmes, our well planned academics, sports, cultural and other extra-curricular  activities ensure our students are equipped with skills to excel in their chosen field.We have everything that  makes a model college: because of an excellent college building, well equipped laboratories, fully fledged  library, and computer lab with internet facilities and dedicated faculty which comprises of highly qualified  and experienced staff. The entire team believes that each student is a unique individual with specific needs and our classrooms  reflect this belief by preparing good human beings with inculcate moral values. Another prime objective of the college is to build religious belief in students to promote spiritualism. We are living in a developing country, where science and technology are still in developing stage.

As I take on the leadership of this college, I look forward to continue the best practices, while at the same time, creating newer avenues in the field of education and it is my prayer that our students go out into the world with the strength, not only to reach and excel in their professional aspirations, but also to remain good human beings.
